Discover Mackinac Island

Mackinac Island sits in Lake Huron, between Michigan’s Upper and Lower peninsulas. For centuries, visitors have found this national landmark to be the ideal vacation spot where they experience unforgettable sunsets and sunrises, extraordinary nightlife, world-famous fudge, historic Fort Mackinac, unique shopping, and diverse dining.

Ranked as a Top 10 U.S. Island by TripAdvisor and USA Today, Mackinac boasts an authentic Victorian atmosphere with horses-drawn carriages instead of motorized vehicles; beautiful gardens; period architecture; a number of taverns, bars and restaurants; and, of course, Cloghaun Bed and Breakfast – just 2 blocks from the ferry dock. (This photo is taken from the Inn.)
